DevOps Engineering Manager – AI Tech Start-Up – Remote First (1 Day/Month in Manchester)
We’re an ambitious AI tech startup on a mission to build powerful, intelligent systems that solve real-world problems. As we scale, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our platform and DevOps function, shaping the future of our infrastructure and engineering culture.
What you'll do:
- Lead and grow a high-performing DevOps team
- Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Define and implement infrastructure best practices (IaC, security, scalability)
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD, observability, and platform reliability across teams
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to support rapid delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Platform leadership role
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure automation
- Strong knowledge of Terraform (or similar), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD
- Startup mindset: adaptable, strategic, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
