Compensation: £80k – £95k Base + 2x OTE (Uncapped Earnings)

Role Overview:

The Channel Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by expanding market reach into the US Agents and Agency market, as well as nurturing direct sales within the UK Enterprise sector. This 360° sales role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills who can deliver consultative solutions that address customers’ evolving data center and edge infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel sales and direct account management within technology or telecommunications, with a passion for developing new business opportunities and long-term strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development: Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with US agents and agencies to effectively promote and sell our DC client’s portfolio of edge data center services.
  • Direct Sales: Oversee the full sales cycle for UK Enterprise accounts—from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals—ensuring alignment with clients’ evolving IT and business strategies.
  • Strategic Account Management: Leverage existing relationships and develop new strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth, with an emphasis on consultative selling and value-based solutions.
  • Market Expansion & Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the sales strategy for both channel partners and direct sales, ensuring the optimal deployment of our DC client’s scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by delivering tailored presentations, managing negotiations, and securing long-term contracts with new and existing clients.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities and performance metrics, providing insights to drive continuous improvement and market responsiveness.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in channel sales, business development, or direct sales roles within IT, telecommunications, or data center sectors.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and grow a channel partner network, as well as drive direct enterprise sales in a 360° sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of edge data center technologies, including the benefits of low latency, scalable infrastructure, and high-availability solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the capability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, target-driven environment, and a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling into US and/or UK enterprise markets is essential.
