We are expanding our team by recruiting Building Safety Consultants at various levels, based in Oxford or other regional offices with flexible working arrangements. This role involves delivering high-quality building safety and compliance services, focusing on assisting designers and clients with building regulations and safety duties.
Ideal candidates will be experienced in:
- Advising clients and teams on Building Regulations 2010 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Delivering Principal Designer functions under building regulations.
- Reviewing compliance in design, conducting audits, site inspections, and reviewing submissions.
- Potentially delivering training on building regulation compliance.
Additional qualities include:
- Registered Building Inspector (Class 2/3) or demonstrated competence across various building types.
- Experience with PAS45001 and management systems.
Requirements to join:
- Strong understanding of building regulations and legislation.
- Technical knowledge of design and construction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
- Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and professional demeanor.
- Chartered membership with CABE, CIOB, RICS preferred.
- Experience in building safety or compliance roles.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
