Support Engineer

Location: London (onsite)

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled Support Engineer to join our client’s small but growing team based in London. This is a standalone IT support role where you will be the go-to person for all IT-related matters, handling a variety of technical issues both onsite and remotely. You will be a key part of the team and will ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing support to users at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support to all employees, both onsite and remotely.
  • Manage and maintain a range of technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server, Entra ID, Office 365, Exchange Server, firewalls, switches, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, networking, and VPNs.
  • Act as the primary IT support contact for all internal users, resolving technical issues and providing timely solutions.
  • Work with the company’s MSP as required to resolve complex issues or implement improvements.
  • Support business-critical network-related issues out of hours, including weekends, when necessary.
  • Ensure IT systems and networks are maintained, updated, and secure.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to meet deadlines and deliver on operational requirements.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

Proven 2nd line support experience with strong troubleshooting abilities.

  • Office 365
  • Exchange Server
  • Firewalls and switches
  • Intune and Autopilot
  • SCCM
  • Networking and VPNs

Comfortable working in a standalone role, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Availability to provide out-of-hours support for urgent network issues.

  • This is a key role in supporting the operations of the business.
