Job Description:

Solution Architect required to come onboard and support one of our consultancy customers within the Insurance/Pensions industry.

Synapri are on the hunt for someone who can support this customer and be responsible for defining solution architecture for end-to-end solutions. Within this role you will be working within a wider architecture function providing expertise across Technology Strategy, Architecture Principles, Reference Architecture, Enterprise Roadmaps and a range of Policies, Standards and Governance!

The successful candidate hired must have an extensive background in the insurance and pensions sector, specifically looking for someone with a deep understanding of Pension Risk Transfer including buy in, buy out, Scheme Administration, Bulk Annuities and Institutional Investments.

Start date: Asap

Location: Hybrid, London

Duration: Initial 6 months with a view to extend

Rate: Inside IR35 (DOE)

Skills required:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Insurance Pensions Risk Transfer Industry
  • Must have extensive understanding of Pension Risk Transfer
  • TOGAF certified (or equivalent practitioner level certification in Solution or Enterprise Architecture)
  • Used appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas.
  • Produced detailed component specifications and translated these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products.
  • Experience in delivering designs under waterfall and iterative/agile models
  • Experience in the preparation of technical plans and cooperated with business assurance and project staff to ensure that appropriate technical resources are made available.
