We are now looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our finance team and support our strategic growth initiatives.
Role Overview:
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a key partner to the leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions. You will play a critical role in driving profitability, ensuring the financial health of the business, and optimizing business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial and financial analysis for key business decisions, including pricing strategies, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key drivers of performance, variances, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to evaluate and manage trade spend and promotional budgets.
- Lead financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Analyze and track product profitability, cost structures, and margins to optimize pricing and cost management strategies.
- Support the finance team with business cases for new projects, identifying opportunities for growth and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement financial models for scenario planning and long-term strategy.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
Key Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, or similar role within the FMCG, drinks, or retail industry.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- A proactive and results-driven approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
