You will lead initiatives in risk management, business continuity, food safety, and employee wellbeing across the business. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the implementation of safety initiatives and continuously improve our safety culture. You will ensure the business adheres to high standards, manage risks effectively, and work alongside leaders to create safer working environments across our operations.
This role is perfect for an experienced Health and Safety professional with a strong background in large-scale operations and food safety who enjoys a hands-on, site-focused approach. Provide expert guidance on HSQE, food safety, fire safety, and employee wellbeing, while supporting senior management in creating and implementing effective standard operating processes.Act as a subject matter expert in risk management and business continuity, ensuring risk registers are maintained and business continuity plans are regularly tested and updated.Provide oversight for incident investigations, ensuring thorough reporting and implementing corrective actions to improve safety performance.Maintain high standards of food safety maturity, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, and continuously improve food safety practices across the business.
NEBOSH General CertificateFood Safety Level 4
NEBOSH DiplomaExperience in a health and safety role, preferably within a multi-site organisation.Ability to influence and engage senior executives and cross-functional teams.Experience with risk management and business continuity planning.Risk assessment and managementIncident management and investigationYou will be rewarded with a salary of £50,000pa – £55,000pa and access to a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution, and life assurance – 1 x annual salary.
