Electrical Engineering Manager – EV Charging Location: London (3 Days Per Week On-Site)Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join a growing team delivering EV charging infrastructure projects across the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring installations are designed, delivered, and commissioned to a high standard, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and local authorities.

Oversee end-to-end technical delivery of EV charging sites, from initial design through installation and commissioningIdentify and flag delivery risks, technical issues, and any factors that could impact project timelines or qualityManage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to keep delivery on trackProvide technical support to internal teams on design standards, compliance, and installation practicesEnsure alignment between product selection, system compatibility, and network standardsReport regularly on project performance, risks, and delivery milestonesMonitor on-site compliance with HSE regulations and company health & safety policiesWork cross-functionally with design, planning, and operations to ensure smooth deliveryYou’re a qualified electrician or technical project lead with hands-on experience in delivering EV charging or electrical infrastructure projects. You’re confident working across multiple stakeholders, managing technical risk, and ensuring safe, compliant installations in fast-paced environments.

Experience in a similar role (Technical Manager, Electrical Project Manager, or Supervisor)Proven track record delivering EV charging or comparable electrical infrastructureStrong knowledge of HV/LV systems, DNO connections, and working in public highways environmentsProficient in relevant software (AutoCAD, Amtech/Trimble) and confident with manual calculationsFamiliar with project reporting, supply chain management, and performance trackingAbility to provide electrical sign-off and ideally act as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor

Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)Higher-level qualification in electrical or electronic engineering (preferred)Full UK driving licence…
