We have a new opportunity to be part of our Build & Car Assembly Team in the role of Assembly Technician.As a Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of key car components by building, servicing, and maintaining all AMR sub-assemblies to the highest standards. You will also maintain rigs, tooling, and workspaces, support pit equipment maintenance, and contribute to continual improvements in assembly reliability. This hands-on role involves attendance at test and race events when required, assisting other departments where needed, and playing a part in training new team members.
Proven experience building and servicing sub-assemblies in a Formula One or high-level motorsport environment, with a sound understanding of associated hydraulics, dampers, and mechanical systems.Ability to interpret assembly drawings and follow detailed build procedures with high precision.Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a scientific mindset in addressing technical challenges.Resilient and calm under pressure, with a flexible attitude and a team-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.Confidence in decision-making, a commitment to high performance, and a clear understanding of Health & Safety practices.This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.Combining our rich heritage with innovation, we bring fresh energy to the sport, driven by a commitment to challenge the status quo and dominate the track.
