Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number ofCNC Millers to join our prestigious client near Rochdaleon a permanent basis.
The business are highly regarded as leaders in their sector of design of special purpose machinery.
Successful candidates MUST be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
Candidates will be required toSet and Operate a number of different CNC Millers using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls to produce components from a range of materials includingStainless Steel andMild Steel. Experinece in programming is advantageous but not essential
Candidates with experinece using Fanuc or Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls will be considered.
3shift rotation – 6AM-2PM/ 2PM – 10PM / 10PM – 6AM
Shift premium applied ( 20% earlies/ 30% lates/ 40% Nights.
Job Description :
- Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC Millers using Heidenhain /Fanuc controls machiningcomponents to fine tolerances
- Aid where required in the fitting department
- Overhead crane operating experience
Candidate Required Skills
- Time-served with demonstrable experience programming/ Editing, setting and operating CNC Millers working to very tight tolerances.
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
- Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Heidenhain / Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
