I am currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join my client in West London, a Luxury Fashion brand, on a 6 month contract (with potential to become permanent).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring all invoices, credit notes and receipts are processed and fully allocated on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for reviewing the Aged Debtors, ensuring that ageing is fully reconciled, payment terms are regularly checked, and erroneous balances are resolved.
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable Inbox ensuring all queries are resolved quickly and issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Work closely with the Wholesale Operations Manager providing information on debtor accounts and finance holds, and assist with ad hoc requests.
  • Collecting deposits and sending pro forma invoices prior to Wholesale Delivery window.
  • Build & maintain good relationships with our valued Wholesale Partners.
  • Manage customer credit limits and regular credit checking.
  • Management of the company’s credit insurance policy ensuring compliance with credit limits and underwriter monthly reporting.
  • Ensure automated processes such as Dunnings and monthly statements are running as expected.
  • Ownership of customer billing information in Netsuite, updating as required.
  • Calculating and reporting on Agency Commissions.
  • Monthly AR Reporting to C-Suite.
  • Invoicing for non-wholesale revenue as required.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience working in an AR function in a B2B company with a good understanding of Wholesale.
  • Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Net-Suite experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Flexible & proactive, able to drive improvements through to completion.
  • Positive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work in a way that meets or exceeds business requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proven ability to build and manage relationships.
