Corporate Insurance Solicitor – Senior Associate – 5+ PQE
Our client, a Tier 1 international City law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly ranked Corporate Insurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to lead and negotiate transactions, provide expert legal advice, and play a pivotal role in the firm’s growth.

Role Overview: • Provide non-contentious corporate advice to insurers and other financial institutions • Areas covered: public and private M&A, business transfers, reinsurance, regulatory matters, joint ventures, and restructurings • Lead and negotiate transactions with limited supervision • Draft legal and regulatory advice with minimal amendments • Adopt a client-facing role • Supervise and develop junior associates and trainees
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum of 5 years’ PQE with a relevant background gained at a highly ranked Corporate Insurance practice • Excellent academic credentials • Demonstrable experience in: • Insurance sector M&A and restructuring • Reinsurance • Part VII transfers • Regulatory advice to insurers and/or other financial institutions • Ability and drive to work on bespoke, big-ticket, and complicated transactions • Experience working on behalf of banking or other financial institutions would be highly beneficial
