Restaurant Manager – Michelin Guide Restaurant

Location: Central London

Salary: £50,000 per year

Hours: 48 hours per week (2 double shifts, 3 single shifts)

Smyth & Co are excited to be working with an award-winning, Michelin restaurant in Central London, seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee the front-of-house operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a small, high-end restaurant with a chef’s counter dining concept, offering an intimate and exclusive experience for 30-40 covers per service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and efficiency
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Uphold the restaurant’s Michelin standards
  • Manage reservations, guest relations, and service execution
  • Work closely with the kitchen team in a chef’s counter setting
  • Assist with training, development, and performance management of staff
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • What We’re Looking For:

    • 2-3 years of experience in management positions within Michelin-starred restaurants is essential
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-end, fine dining environment
    • Strong communication and organisational skills
    • Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service
    • Ability to work in a small, fast-paced restaurant with a hands-on approach
