8.00am – 17.00pm, Fridays till 2pmPart-Time, 3 days per weekJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Skilled Engineering Machinist / CNC Engineer with experience of making components, generally in non-ferrous materials.The company design and manufacture special purpose machines, mechanisms and components for a range of industries including defence, medical, electronics and food production.As the Skilled Engineering Machinist / CNC Engineer you will join a small team making components on 3, 4 & 5 axis bed mills with conversational programming.Working as the Skilled Engineering Machinist / CNC Engineer you will also have the ability to make turned parts on conventional lathes in addition to operating other conventional machine tools, such as pillar drills and surface grinders would be an advantage.As the company make bespoke parts for machines the work can be very different, non-repetitive and interesting.As a successful candidate you will join a very friendly family run business trading successfully for 36 years.Travelling is normally against the traffic going to Swindon & Cheltenham areas.
