Work is available both during term-time and school holidays , offering excellent flexibility for the right candidates.About the Role – Early Years Teaching Assistant This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and stimulating environment, supporting children aged 0 to 3 as an EYFS Teaching Assistant . You will be working in a well-resourced nursery setting, playing a key role in supporting young learners’ emotional, physical, and educational development.As an Early Years Teaching Assistant , your responsibilities will include:
- Providing warm, responsive care to children in the Under 3’s Provision
- Supporting children’s development through play, observation, and tailored activities
- Assisting with feeding, changing, toileting, and nap time routines
- Working in partnership with teachers and EYFS leads to plan engaging and age-appropriate experiences
- Creating a calm, safe and stimulating environment for all children
- Promoting social, emotional and communication development
What We’re Looking For in an Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (Essential)
- Experience working with EYFS/nursery-aged children (0-3 years)
- A nurturing and caring personality with a proactive attitude
- Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development
- An excellent communicator with a passion for early childhood education
- Able to commit to consistent days each week (part-time or full-time)
