Compass Point Recruitment is excited to be working with a fantastic company based in Mildenhall, currently on the lookout for a Warehouse & Forklift Driver to join their brilliant team. The warehouse plays a vital role in keeping things running smoothly, and they’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and hands-on to help keep stock moving safely and efficiently between multiple on-site locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift (counterbalance or reach truck, depending on requirements) to move, stack, and transport stock across various warehouses.
- Regularly handle and move heavy materialsmanual handling will be part of the role.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are documented and stored correctly.
- Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory placement.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks including labelling and housekeeping duties.
- Follow all health & safety policies, keeping safety at the heart of everything you do.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock movement and communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid forklift licence (Counterbalance essential; additional licences a bonus)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and manual handling
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, organised approach
- A team player who’s also confident working independently
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
