Job Title – Product Executive
Job Location – London
Salary – £17k basic plus commission OTE 30K plus
My client is recruiting a Product Executive who will be responsible for the creation, planning, negotiation, development, and commercial management of travel products in Europe.
In this role, you will research and develop innovative new products in Europe. You will be responsible for all existing and new product development for the company.
You will work on supplier relationships. At the end of every month, you will communicate monthly product activities to management.
You will assist the sales team responsible for selling the products. In this role, you will also help with hotel offers through the company website and other marketing material.
Key responsibilities:
- Secure product contribution throughout the year to support marketing activities and bottom-line budgets.
- Product costing and pricing strategies.
- Identifying new product development opportunities through competitor analysis and customer research to achieve competitive ground costs and contracting terms.
- Regular analysis on price and product offering with competitors.
- Promotion of tactical offers.
- Brochure production.
- Website product management and content update (including blogs).
- Liaising closely with other departments within the company to ensure the product is displayed and distributed accurately.
- Pre & post-departure destination and product information management.
- Internal marketing of new products and offers.
- Take sales calls and make sales as the business requires – in smaller departments this will be a constant requirement.
