They are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Year 1 Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a student with additional needs. This position is a full-time, long-term Learning Support Assistant role.Your new role:Your new Learning Support Assistant role will be to provide tailored individual support to an individual in Year 1 with ASD, ensuring their individual’s learning needs are met, assisting the class teacher in the creation of implementing personalised learning plans and supporting the student in developing social skills and building confidence. You will be monitoring and recording the students’ progress and working with an extensive SEND team to ensure these students’ well-being alongside academic success.Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
- Previous experience with SEN is needed
- Previous experience with KS1children
