Stress Analysis Engineer

Position: Static Stress Engineer – (Approver & Non-Approver Roles) Location: Bristol Pay Rate: £52.57 per hour (Inside IR35) for Approver Pay Rate: £46.00 per hour (Inside IR35) for non-approver Work Pattern: Hybrid iO Associates is currently recruiting a Static Stress Engineer to join our client’s team at the Broughton site. You’ll play a vital role in high-impact projects, working within an innovative and collaborative environment that thrives on pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology. Compile data for trade studies, impact assessments, and RF mitigations Conduct static stress analysis on fixed-wing structures using internal tools Prepare and, if authorised, approve certification dossiers (composite & metallic) Collaborate with wing teams and report progress to the Delivery Team Leader Functionally report to the Senior/Lead Stress Engineer on the work package Skills Demonstrated experience in the aerospace sector Previous involvement in similar projects or environments Strong hands-on background in airframe certification analysis and in-service support Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to deliver tasks to agreed timelines and provide progress updates Desirable Degree in Engineering or a related field Delegated signatory status Proficiency in Nastran, Hyperworks, Python scripting, and ISAMI Familiarity with wing structure design and analysis This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally respected organisation that supports personal and professional development….
