We are looking for an ambitious and highly organised individual who is articulate, curious, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment across a range of projects. Whilst the successful candidate needs to be a natural self-starter, it is also important that the candidate can work as part of a team at a senior level across a range of disciplines. This role will work with every practice in the agency; consumer (including our social purpose brand Goodness), corporate & business, content & creative and our broadcast agency, Good Broadcast. Good Relations delivers campaigns in the PR, social and influencer space, working across a range of sectors, including food & drink, FMCG, retail, transport, energy and travel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping to win new clients

  1. Pull together in-depth knowledge and research of potential new clients, their market and competitors to pitching teams across the agency.
  2. Support our New Business Exec Director and other senior leaders on end-to-end pitching, working collaboratively with a huge range of people / teams across the business, including: Supporting on the creation of compelling RFI / RFP responses, creating and managing creds decks for new business opportunities and meetings, managing all prep and set up for pitches, including room dressing, rehearsals, printing, studio jobs and coordinating pitch theatre requests.
  3. Ability to identify the right case studies for new business meetings, and helping to look out for our winning strategy or ‘achilles heel’.
  4. Desk research and assistance on new business / business development strategies across the VCCP Group, alongside the New Business Director.
  5. Support in coordinating and preparing for intermediary events (i.e. Ingenuity), and meetings for wider new business team.
  6. Manage our marketing events programme – From working with practice Directors to shape new biz speaker events and round tables, through to event management (managing invite list, on the day event coordination, post event follow ups etc).

Fountain of all knowledge

  1. Ownership and management of the New Business Drive, pitch assistance and other pitch related documents, keeping them up to date and organised at all times.
  2. Consistent awareness of agency news, work and policies that can be translated into written documents and presentations.
  3. Continual competitor analysis of other agencies across all disciplines.
  4. Consistent awareness of wider industry news and trends that could impact both our pitches and our general day to day business.
  5. Oversight of VCCP/GR subscriptions: ensuring we have the best research tools and resources available to the team.
  6. Proactiveness in identifying operational efficiencies, driving best practice across the team and facilitating knowledge sharing.
  7. Ability to use, manage and interpret new business data and reporting systems to give regular updates and assist with creating presentations on behalf of senior management.
  8. Be a brand guardian for Good Relations and the wider team.

Making Good Relations and our work famous

  1. Support in identifying/managing relevant new business related award submissions, including agency awards and sector awards for client work.
  2. Ownership of GR Group creds and case studies across all offices and disciplines, working closely with account teams to ensure case studies are up to date.
  3. Support in producing agency showreels to showcase best and latest work to our clients.
  4. Be responsible for our work and profile on our channels. Eg, Ensure website case studies are up to date and new biz/campaign work content is featured on our social channels.
  5. Support in updating external intermediary profiles, ensuring GR is represented across the industry in the best possible way.
  6. Ownership of how we and our work show up across the agency – making sure our latest work is showcased across the agency (meeting room boards/showreels etc).
