Head Of Private Rented & Temp Accommodation Supply

My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Head of Privately Rented & Temp Accommodation Supply on a Contract basis.

The role will lead the Private Rented Sector and Temp Accommodation Supply service for the Council, reporting to the Head of Housing Needs.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

• Engage with landlords and providers to negotiate cost efficiencies of PRS / Temp Accommodation.
• Work to increase access to alternative housing options.
• Reduce costs of Temporary Accommodation.
• Work in line with the medium-term financial strategy to effectively reduce costs and streamline the supply of Temporary Accommodation for the Council.

About you:You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in landlord engagement / negotiation.
• Excellent team management experience and skills.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of a Council’s homelessness, temp accommodation and private rented sector supply.
• Strong expertise in supporting in the provision of alternative housing options.
• Local Authority experience is essential.

What’s on offer:

• Salary: £550 per day, Inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience
