What You'll Do

Conceptualization, planning, and implementation of new sensor developments/variants as well as modifications based on customer requirements and internal specifications

  • Analysis and evaluation of drawings and customer specification documents
  • Creation of specifications (requirements/specification sheets), feasibility studies, investigation reports, risk analyses, and sampling documentation as per guidelines
  • Preparation of data sheets, component, part, and product drawings using CAD
  • Creation and contribution to process flow charts, FMEAs, and process control plans
  • Execution and thorough documentation of all stages of development and project processes for development projects and process changes in compliance with the requirements of IATF 16949 and other company standards
  • Design conceptualization, material selection, and verification in accordance with requirements, general construction standards, and commercial needs
  • Assembly of manual prototypes, laboratory samples, and prototypes
  • Organization, execution, and support of laboratory investigations and verification tests

What You'll Bring

  • Completed studies, technician degree, or training in the fields of electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience
  • Experience in the development of automotive products (Automotive Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and PPAP) and in semiconductor technology is an advantage
  • Experience with 3D CAD programs, ideally SolidWorks
  • Proficient in common MS Office applications (especially strong Word and Excel skills)
  • Independent, highly communicative, and structured working style, with enthusiasm for collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams, including in English
  • 3+ years of experience with document control required.
  • English language proficiency (spoken and written, B2 level)
  • Willingness to travel, approximately 5%
