We are seeking a talented and experienced First Line IT Support Manager to join our busy office in Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4HY. You will be responsible for leading our first-line support team, ensuring seamless IT operations for our 100+ users.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 1st & 2nd line IT support and escalation, liaise with incumbent MSP.
- Provide exceptional first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook on-premises.
- Oversee PC setup, desk moves, and general IT infrastructure maintenance.
- Manage network connectivity issues, ensuring stable and reliable network performance.
- Administer and maintain IT systems, including user accounts and access permissions.
- Log and track support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a 1st & 2nd line IT support role, with demonstrable leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, Active Directory, 365, including Outlook on-premises.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, VPN, and network issues.
- Experience with PC setup, desk moves, and general IT administration.
- Strong understanding of network connectivity principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach.
Good to have:
- Experience in recruitment business environment or similar telesales.
- Knowledge of CRM/ATS systems (e.g., Bullhorn, or similar ATS).
- Knowledge of VOIP for sales teams (e.g., CloudCall, 8×8 or similar).
