The Senior Digital Director role is an experienced individual contributor responsible for prospecting and closing large sales in GumGum’s Market Leading ‘Contextual, Creative and Attention’ Advertising platform. Reporting to the Group Digital Director, this role is responsible for developing key relationships within large and mid-size agencies with regular expert guidance on client calls. We require this role to work autonomously while being supported by a cross-functional pre-sales team.

Senior Digital Directors are experienced sellers with deep knowledge of the online media landscape, the advertising community, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. With 6+ years of digital media experience, they leverage GumGum’s industry-leading products to develop strategic solutions that meet client objectives and maximize sales opportunities.

This role requires a strong sales acumen, independent judgment, and the ability to navigate complex client needs. Senior Digital Directors proactively identify high-value opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and consistently exceed revenue targets by presenting tailored solutions.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or ‘work from home’ as there isn’t a nearby office. However, GumGum is excited to only consider applicants residing in the local area listed in the job description for business needs including some or all of the following: client interaction, team interaction, timezone, etc.

Additionally, this is a 12 month FTC for a LOA.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Drive revenue for UK agencies – Responsible for a book of business, driving revenue and new business across large to mid-sized agencies in the UK
  • Upsell Current Clients in Current and New Products – Provide market insight into the GumGum offerings by generating sales specifically from key brands and agencies
  • Sales Prospecting and Hunting – Expectation to generate a high volume of sales related activity including cold calling, presentations, RFP’s, and out of the box sales solutions
  • Relationship Development – Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts and clients to gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide GumGum solutions for their marketing and advertising goals
  • Translate Client Insight to internal Product Team – Provide feedback to the company on how to best service clients’ needs
  • Ownership & Contribution: Take ownership of your role and designated area, actively contributing solutions to support the team’s goals.
  • Relationship Building: Leverage an existing, extensive network of contacts across the media industry, including clients, agencies, and other media owners.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor and deputy to your manager (GDD), serving as a sounding board for ideas and strategies.
  • Key Stakeholder: Establish yourself as a key stakeholder within the business, contributing to its overall success.
  • Internal Collaboration – Work with an Account Manager, Client Strategists, Programmatic Solutions Manager, and other internal teams to ensure sold proposals are successfully implemented and aligned with client expectations

Skills You’ll Bring

  • Ideally 6+ years of selling experience in digital advertising sales
  • Experience managing a large book of business
  • Must have strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets demonstrated with a list of brand and agency contacts in addition to other assignments in the region
  • Programmatic experience preferred
  • Strategic relationships across multiple holding companies
  • Outgoing and can build and maintain/grow client relationships at all levels (entertaining is required)
  • Proven successful experience in media sales
  • Demonstrate they are eager, motivated and passionate about GumGum’s products
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach team members
  • Flexible and have the ability to adjust quickly to changing demands or strategies
  • Must be a highly motivated team player
