Interim Technical Accountant

Finatal is partnering with a private equity-backed business based in London, seeking an Interim Technical Accountant to support their finance function during a period of transformation across their multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP/IFRS, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards.
2. Manage month-end and year-end reporting, including consolidations for multiple entities.
3. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and IFRS adjustments.
4. Act as the key point of contact for external auditors and support the audit process.
5. Implement and enhance financial controls to ensure compliance with PE-backed reporting requirements.
6. Assist with the integration of new acquisitions, ensuring alignment of accounting policies.

Key Requirements

1. ACA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
2. Experience in a private equity-backed business environment is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and consolidation accounting.
4. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
