Offer Strategy Senior Analyst – UK Retail Investment Market

Overview

A rare opportunity to join a fast-evolving Investment Manager's retail investment business as it redefines its proposition for the UK market. We're looking for an experienced Strategy Analyst to shape how individual clients engage with investment services.

This is a high-impact, commercially focused role for someone who thrives on navigating ambiguity, driving cross-functional initiatives, and influencing senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute directly to strategic planning across offer development, service evolution, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver business-critical strategy projects and workstreams across product, service, and operational design
  • Conduct in-depth strategic, competitive, and market analysis to inform offer and service roadmap decisions
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Product, CX, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Finance to translate strategic vision into deliverable plans
  • Represent the business externally (e.g., at industry forums and policy roundtables) to ensure the strategy remains informed by market intelligence
  • Ensure strategic alignment across UK and European business units to deliver cohesive propositions
  • Develop high-quality executive communications – including presentations, memos, and white papers – to influence and inform senior leadership
  • Mentor and support more junior analysts on best practices in strategic thinking and analysis

What We’re Looking For

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to distil large sets of information into focused, actionable insights
  • Demonstrable experience leading commercial strategy or business planning projects in financial services
  • Knowledge of the UK D2C investment market strongly preferred (platforms, advice, retirement propositions all relevant)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills – including the ability to evaluate trade-offs and identify risks
  • Confident stakeholder manager with gravitas and credibility at senior levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – especially in crafting compelling, insight-led narratives for executives
  • Comfortable representing the business in industry forums and engaging with external partners and regulatory bodies

Desirable Background

  • Experience working in corporate strategy, commercial planning, consulting, or product strategy within financial services
  • Prior involvement in service design or proposition development for investment platforms or advice services
  • Understanding of cross-border business dynamics, particularly within pan-European structures

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required; a postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA or MSc in Finance, Economics, Strategy) is advantageous
  • At least five years’ relevant experience in strategy, product, or commercial planning roles
